24 Hour Prayer & Worship!!!

Updated December 1st, 2009

Who: YOU (all of the Christian fellowships are welcome)
When: Thursday, Dec 3rd – Friday, Dec 4th
Where: DCF House, 312 A St (corner of 3rd and A St.)
What time: 5pm – 5pm (24 hours!)

We are praying for our campus, our generation, this city, the nations! WE ARE ALL CALLED TO PRAYER! Yes, its good that you pray on your own with God, but there is something special when you are actively praying FOR others and praying WITH others. There’s a difference between individual prayer and corporate prayer, both of which are important.

This is a really special moment. We are asking for a revival to spark on our campus, in the hearts of the lost, broken, and dead. We are asking for God’s kingdom to be unleashed, in the complete awesome power, holiness, and might. For 24 hours, we will be petitioning to God in the throne room. You will be interceding for many. The focus is not our our individual needs, but taking on God’s perspective and eyes and standing in the gap. This isn’t to say that after the 24 hours, we will stop praying, but we are taking a step of faith in this. All things begin with prayer. I’m sure you’ve all experienced this truth in some form in your life.

Please be encouraged to take a risk and have faith in God. Your prayers are valuable to and welcomed by Him. They have power and authority. Even if you’re afraid or feel like you don’t know how to pray, come to the house. Being present in itself is an action. The bible says to pray continuously. So let’s join our community in doing that!
