Will and Jen Klier

Thanks for checking out the site! Jen and Will co-direct DCF. If you have questions about this ministry, don’t hesitate to ask. Will graduated from UC Davis in Communication and Religous Studies. During his undergrad he served as an RA, Summer Advisor, and ASUCD Senator. So if you have questions about God or the campus he might be able to help you out. He met Jen when she came to UCD back in 1999. She graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Linguistics and Spanish. They married May 28, 2005 and have been serving as directors since. They have two beautiful girls, Joy and Mercy.

Jack & Renee Hammond

Hammond Family

Hi! I am Jack Hammond. I graduated from University of the Pacific with a Geology degree and in the process of accomplishing that I learned how wonderful Jesus was. I started working with DCF/Chi Alpha right out of college and have been working full-time with them ever since. My favorite Bible verse is Matt 10:7 where Jesus says, “Freely you have received, freely give.” I love freebies! My coolest fact about myself is my wife and kids (Renee, Jake and Molly). They make me laugh every day.

Michelle Freeman

Michelle Freeman

Michelle graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Psychology and Religious Studies. After moving all over the country (mostly the South), she finally arrived in Davis and joined staff in 2008.  Before coming to UCD, she worked with Chi Alpha at Montana State University. Some of her favorite things to do are take photos, ballroom dance, read a fun book, and have a good conversation over coffee with students. If you have any questions about core groups or just want to hang out, contact Michelle!

UC Davis ‘08, majors: Microbiology & Music Composition.

Where are you from? Born and raised in Martinez “the Nez” California.

What’s your vision and heart for campus ministry? My vision is to see the world transformed by targeting the university campus as a strategic mission field to reach our future leaders. My heart is that as students go through a time of transformation and defining identity in college they would choose Jesus and have their hearts be set on fire for God. I want to see students who will go from seeing themselves as merely attending church to understanding that they are missionaries anointed by God, commissioned, and sent out into the world to be instruments of God’s redemptive work on earth.

Why did you choose to become a CMIT intern? I chose to go through a CMIT (Campus Missionary in Training) program because I feel called to campus missions long-term and this is the best way to equip and prepare myself to follow that calling. I chose to go through my CMIT program at UC Davis because of the incredible directors and staff here that I have the privilege of working with and learning from.

Hey! Thanks for coming by the webpage. I’m a Campus Missionary in Training this year and couldn’t be more excited to see what God has for DCF and for every student here on campus. I love watching God change lives and being a part of His process along the way! DCF had a huge impact in my life as a student, and I know that as a fellowship and a family that brings glory to Jesus it will continue to be a place where God changes lives! So come and visit us at the house (312 A St.) or at a Friday night meeting. We look forward to meeting you!
